Marvel Rivals has revealed that players will be able to earn free cosmetic items for Duelist Magic through a new round of Twitch Drops as part of Season 2.5, starting on June 19. This mid-season update to the popular hero shooter, recently released by NetEase Games, adds iconic villain Ultron to the game as a flying strategist.
While Ultron himself has proven popular with many fans, some players have expressed disappointment with Marvel Rivals new Ultron Battle Matrix Protocol game mode. They say that matches tend to be longer than expected, and in some cases it can take over 30 minutes to complete a set. Players looking to earn rewards associated with this special mode will only have this opportunity until June 23, as after that the mode will be removed from the game.

In a recent post shared on Twitter, NetEase Games has announced a new round of Twitch Drops for Marvel Rivals, which will begin on June 19. This time around, the Twitch Drops include exclusive cosmetic items for popular duelist Magik, including a spray, nameplate, emote, and a costume. All of these rewards can be obtained by watching an eligible stream for six hours. Interested players can take advantage of these Twitch Drops until July 16, giving them a chance to get these exclusive rewards in a limited time.

Magic fans are delighted that the Duelist’s Frozen Demon bundle is once again available for a limited time in Marvel Rivals’ in-game shop. This cosmetic bundle was originally introduced shortly after the game’s initial release in December 2024 and has been quite popular ever since. Players who want to get this exclusive skin will have to decide quickly, as this bundle will be removed from the shop on June 20.
Along with the return of the Vaulted skins, Marvel Rivals recently launched new Future Foundation-themed costumes for Invisible Woman and The Thing. Mr. Fantastic also received a skin with the same theme, currently only available in Season 2.5’s Combat Chest. While his full cosmetic bundle requires players to purchase the Premium Combat Chest, the skin can also be earned for free. At the time of writing, all Future Foundation skins have a reverse design feature, allowing his classic white costume to be changed to a black alternate color scheme. With such a diverse and ever-growing content, many fans are extremely optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
